Directions from Raleigh:
Follow I-40 West to the “Durham Freeway” (Hwy 147 North), exit 279-B. Travel for approximately 6 miles.  Take Duke St. Exit 12-C.  At the 2nd traffic light, turn right on Chapel Hill St.  At the 4th traffic light, turn left on Foster St.  The Marriott is immediately on the left. 

Directions from Charlotte:
From I-85 North, take the “Durham Freeway” Exit 172 (Highway 147 South).  Travel approximately 4 miles to Exit 13, Chapel Hill St.  Turn left on Chapel Hill St. and follow to the 6th traffic light.  Turn left on Foster St. and the Marriott is immediately on the left. 

Directions from Asheville:
I-40 East and I-85 North merge in Greensboro.  When the highway divides again near Hillsborough, take I-85 North.  Follow the directions from I-85 North as listed from Charlotte.

Parking

We recommend that you park in the parking deck on the corner of Morgan St. and Foster St., one street behind the hotel.  When you exit the parking deck on Morgan St., the hotel will be across the street.  There is an entrance to the hotel from Morgan St.  Parking vouchers will be available at the Housing Conference registration desk.

Hotel Reservations

A block of rooms has been reserved for the evenings of October 15 and 16. Rooms cost $129 per night.  Make reservations by calling 919-768-6000.  Please say you are attending the North Carolina Affordable Housing Conference.  The block of rooms will be released to the general public on September 16.
