At our Annual Conference on October 16-17, 2008, the Coalition's Board of Directors approved a four-year strategic plan designed to increase our member services and to improve the organizational structure of the Coalition.

The strategic plan has five goals, each of which will be directed by a Board Committee and Chairperson:

• Expand training, education, and technical assistance to local communities across the state.
• Increase NCHC research on housing issues to advance advocacy, increase education, and shape public opinion.
• Develop and execute a strategic, comprehensive communications program to improve awareness, understanding of issues, and expansion of membership.
• Develop a diversified funding program.
• Increase and improve Board and staff capacity.

To support our increased work going forward, we encourage you to Become a Member  or Make a Gift to the Coalition.  Members and donors will become part of our effective advocacy network dedicated to improving housing options for all North Carolinians.
