The Senate is in the final stages of putting its budget together and the news is that the Trust Fund and other valuable programs will be cut.

Now more than ever we need to increase the funding for quality affordable homes to repsond to the state's housing and economic challenges.

• At this time of economic crisis the demand for affordable housing options is higher than ever in our state.  We cannot go backward.  Housing must be as big a priority as other programs such as the Clean Water Management Trust Fund which receives 10 times the appropriation.
• The Housing Trust Fund is the only source of funding that provides accessiblity modifications and repairs to keep persons with disabilities and fixed income seniors living independently in their homes.
• Finances housing to end homelessness ,workforce rental housing and entry-level home ownership.
• Leverages 3 dollars in additional investment for every dollar in the Trust Fund
• Every $1M invested produces 100 homes and 80 jobs.
