• Having problems identifying who offer s FREE legitimate help for homeowners?

NC Commissioner of Banks, Triangle Family Services, Telamon Corporation will inform you of programs* available through their state and local nonprofit agencies that assist homeowners in trouble with their mortgages. 

*State Home Foreclosure Prevention Project – connects you with a HUD approved housing counseling agencies

*Home Protection Program – provides mortgage loan payments for up to 24 months while you look for a job or train for a new one

*Telamon – can assist with 3 months mortgage back payment assistance for Wake County residents
