National Tax Credit Database
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a national database that contains information on nearly 19,700 projects and more than 935,000 affordable housing units opened since 1987. Millennial Housing Commission
At Congress's request, the Millennial Housing Commission met for 17 months to perform a thorough re-examination of the federal role in meeting the nation's housing challenges. In 2002, the Commission came out with its report on housing challenges and recommendations in meeting those challenges. To read the report, visit www.mhc.gov.
Mark-to-Market
Mark-to-Market (M2M) is the product of the 1997 Multifamily Assisted Housing Reform and Affordability Act. In October, 1997, Congress passed a new law designed to reduce government's cost for multifamily assisted housing. M2M is designed to preserve affordable housing for low- income families.
