Continuing Education

In today's housing market, it is important for Housing Counselors to stay abreast of changes in the industry and to continually strengthen their skills. To that end, TAHC has implemented a continuing education program that enables Counselors to renew their certification every two years. To maintain certification, Housing Counselors are required to take 32 hours of continuing education over a two year period. Opportunities for continuing education hours are provided periodically by other partner organizations. Many members take advantage of the continuing education credits offered by attending workshops at the Annual Conference.

The current Recertification Form and Guidelines can be found here.  The recertification fee is $100 if paid on or before your certification expiration date.  There is an additional $100 late fee assessed after your certificate's expiration date.
